Back to running after a fall

I went out this morning to do Wk9R3...5 minutes in I fell. Flat on my face and my knuckles took the full force. Nothing is broken, I just feel bruised. What I was wondering was, had anyone else done the same and if so, how long before you went running again? I’m desperate to graduate!

Thanks all :)

It’s gonna depend on the bruising... see how you feel on your next run day. Hopefully you’ll be good to go in a couple of days, if not then don’t worry, it takes a couple of weeks to start losing any fitness, so a few days off won’t hurt.

You might be ok tomorrow 🤞🏽 Maybe take some ibuprofen before you go out. Good luck whenever you go 👌🏽

I tripped on a bramble and went full force into gorse. Sprained wrist and rashes and scratches from the gorse. Pride took the most of the hit. Ha ha

Dusted myself off, waited couple of days then straight back into it. Good luck

Ouch! That’s what I’ll do I think. I was due to go back out today (yesterday was a bonus unplanned run) but I’m going to leave it a couple more days :)
