So just downloaded c25k app and joined this group... would love to be able to jog let alone run...but never thought it was ‘my thing’. Hoping that this group will help get me going and keep going!

Welcome!...running wasn't 'my thing' either, but hear I am, less than 4 months later and a runner 😀. The plan is amazing and rather addictive. Happy running!

Welcome from another VRB. Virtual Running Buddy!

Two bits of advice.

You don’t have to go fast, you just have to go!

Measure, weigh and record. Biceps, thighs etc. A ‘before’ pic perhaps? It is the only way you will believe the difference this is about to make to you.

Third and most important - ENJOY IT!

Now watch YouTube Japanese Slow Running Man. My role model / hero for speed, stance, breathing and hair colour.

Hey, well done on signing up. I started C25K in January and finished in July - I repeated a few runs and missed a few days - but I can now run 5k and do park run each week.

I love it - I’ve lost 2 stones and gained a waist too.

Good luck

Well done ... that’s great encouragement for me...I’d love to lose some weight and progress to Park Runs.... I go to the gym (do a couple of spin classes and Bodypump classes a week) but weight loss has stagnated...hoping trying something different and really challenging for me will kick start it again!

Well done for taking the first step. It’s a great plan and you will get lots of support and advice on this forum. Good luck and enjoy each achievement, you will be amazed at how quickly you progress.
