I am going away soon and should be on week six if all goes well!

My problem is the holiday is going to be very busy and probably no chance for out door running. I run outside now but I did not know if I should stay on week five and just run the week 5 on the running machine in the hotels and then pick up where I left it before the holiday when home! I

What do you think ?...

Keep running.

If there's time for the treadmill, why not for outdoors. It's a great way to explore.

But if you don't fancy it, use the treadmill.

I am in India many cities, very busy with people and very hot.. When I get to the Himalaya s it should be less busy but very steep😁

As much as I loved India for the two years I lived there - and granted it was in the 80s - and as much as I love running there are very few places I can envision would be good to run there in the cities. In the Himalayas - and again, I did not go much above 7 or 8 thousand feet - take the thinner air into account, it will affect your running. And please don't lightly dismiss any scratches or cuts if you take a tumble, infection can occur all to easily.

I hate to sound negative about any aspect of a Nation and people I came to live and admire. Calcutta/Kolkata was definitely 'Home' for me in the best sense of the word. :)

BTW - if you get a chance to see the Ghoom Monastery near Darjeeling, it's a truly special experience. :)

Very best wishes for your trip :)

If you get to run on the hotel treadmill just keep up where you are on the plan when you get there no need to stay on a week or go back. Enjoy your holiday 😊
