I haven't posted in here for a while but I still look in occasionally and read some of your posts when I get the time. π
I'm running three times a week at the moment, it was four for a while but I'm cross training at the gym three days a week at the moment so I opted to reduce the running to three times a week and have Sunday's off π
I still very much enjoy my running and currently doing two heart rate runs a week of either 60 or 90 minutes in duration and either a 5K or a tempo run on Saturday. I've no particular aim at the moment other than to keep fit and enjoy my running.
Here's a pic from one of my runs on holiday last week in Southwold. I love the fact that I can run anywhere I go π
All the best

Great pictures Bob! Good to hear from you! Lovely coastline, of course your young lad thoroughly enjoyed himself there, as you did running around there..ππ
We're fine, just that the Mrs isn't running at the moment, she developed a cough just as she was graduating from c25k, which she did really well, hardly any problems, but the cough came on as she exerted herself running more, which wouldn't go away, so went to the docs and he found a slight swelling on her thyroid, anyway she went for a scan and a large goiter's been found grown down in her chest instead of out from the neck as they usually do, it's about the size of a large mango! which has to come out as pushing on the wind pipe and is becoming uncomfortable now, thing is the surgeon's will have to do some more extensive surgery on the chest to get it out, her prognosis is very good, we are just very anxious with it all, but keep positive, I get out and run which helps take my mind of it for a spell. She goes in to have the operation done on the 18th October..
Yup, that's our campervan. One of the best things about going away in it is you don't have to unpack/pack all your clothes and stuff when you get there/leave π
Er, yes I'm starting to see results from the gym work now π It needed doing though as I lost a fair bit of muscle as well as fat when lost the weight,. I'd gone proper weedy looking. Mind you I'm still trying to find my ideal calorie intake, so I'm a work in progress at the moment (in other words I have a bit more excess belly fat than I'd like π)
