After completing the programme last week I decided to go to my local park run. I got a time of 30m 43s. Really happy with the result as I wasn't tracking distance and time previously. I never truly believed I'd get to this stage after two false starts. Anyone out there struggling, trust in the process guys! Don't give up, a week, two weeks even a month or longer the only failure is never trying again! I've not done it as a weight loss intervention or just physical health but am diagnosed with PTSD and read that running was a particularly good form of exercise to get my flight, fight and freeze problems back in check. Happy to report it's been absolutely life changing for me in so many ways. Just downloaded a 5k to 10k app, fingers crossed I keep progressing. It's very quickly transitioned from something "I should be doing" to something I absolutely love doing! Keep going!

Well done you, it has changed my life, i’m Not angry and frustrated like I used to be. Defiantly a great therapy. Good luck with it all. Wish , my Park Run time was anywhere near yours, but the stats do get addictive, or is that just me. Happy running.

It’s wonderful to be able to say you love doing it! I have always loved being outside in the fresh air & have the privilege of running on a track beside the sea. Lots of wild flowers in the dunes, ships on the horizon & occasionally dolphins in the bay. SO helpful with the huff & puff of commencing Couch to 5K.
