Well that’s the first run completed. Only managed 6 of the 7 jogs first time out.

That’s the first time I’ve tried running in god knows how many years

Got a face as red as my sweatshirt now lol

Next one on Thursday - I’ll do all 7 jogging stints that’s for sure

I started too quick but found my pace after the 3rd jog

Legs didn’t want to do the 7th though

So I went for an extended 20 min walk

Feeling good now though

Off now for a nice hot soak and freshen up

Great for getting started, c25k really is amazing and really does work you'll get lots of encouragement and support on here. Don't move on to the next run until you complete the previous one. Good luck 😊

Great job... the right pace is easily found after we go too fast... that pace will serve you well next time out. And SlowLoris is right... it’s run 60 walk 90 and repeat 7 times for 8 intervals, so you did even better than you thought!

It gets easier and it gets easier quicker than you expect. I really had to push myself to complete week 1 run 1, I've tied to start the c25k twice before and given up on the first run but this time I've been determined. Runs 2 and 3 I found much easier and really enjoyable. Week2 Run 1 today was harder, but nothing compared to that fist run. Once you get past that first one it gets so much easier and you'll start really enjoying it.

Welcome and congratulations on getting started with c25k. I agree with the above the 1st trip out is the hardest to do but you’ve done it. Do let us know how you get on on Thursday. Slow and steady 🏃‍♀️

We will pootle along but when we started we could only just run 60 seconds at a time so we are chuffed

So the last run is a 30 min one I’m assuming

So poodle and complete as I’m sure you will

Just jog and enjoy

Finish and be proud

Then celebrate and treat yourselves

The treat is to be able to do it and lower cholesterol without dietary change and a more toned and muscular body not a lot but enough to notice for both of us
