So the last time i actually jogged would have been aged 15..(school cross country which i hated!)... I'm now 48.... In beween i have played sport football & tennis but the running is obviously in short bursts.. I have never had the inclination to run... My wife loves it although shes injured at the moment and i have always stuck to my guns and said i hate running and no chance of doing it.... And yet here i am after getting out at 5.30am and running intervals i am actually kinda enjoying it.. Sshhh dont tell anyone especially my wife!!! The last 5 minute run was a struggle but i concentrated on keeping slow and steady and kept the breathing regular and smooth.. And as i got the end Black Eyed Peas came on and sang "keep running, running and running., running....."... Cheers will.l.Am...thats exactly what I plan to do.... Wondering what Saturday and week 5 will bring???... Have a great day...

Your new love of running is really down to c25k. If you have a great plan in place it can make all the difference. Well done you 😊😊

Massive well done you... what a great start to your day.. These song lyrics do eerily reflect our runs sometimes! My personal favourite is a line from ABBA,,, 'just one more mile' ... :)

Slow and steady as you carry on, it will be perfect as you move forward:)

I found that I was writing my post on here in my head while I was running along sometimes, on tricky runs. It made me focus and pushed me so that I could write a positive post! Got me up a bloody difficult hill one day too! There’s a lot of mental stamina being built too. Enjoy the tunes!
