Week 1 Run 3....disappointed

Well I completed my 3rd run 🏃‍♀️ of week 1 today and I actually found it hard. The first two runs were really good. I’m not sure why it felt hard so I’m feeling a bit nervous about week 2

You find that some runs are harder than others. It depends on so many factors, what you are/ drank previous day, what time of day, how much sleep you had ,how hot it is.... Maybe you were trying to go a bit faster this time subconsciously?

Don’t worry about it and just take the next run as it comes, slow it down even more if you need to. You can do it.. we are all with you every step of the way 👏

well done Gemstar1812 i today have just done my 3rd run and i struggled at the start but then felt better at the end.... didnt sweat so much but that may be because there was a nice breeze....

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

Restedness, hydration and nutrition are at the top of my list of variables that can impact on running, but everything else going on in your life can also affect performance and enjoyment. So don't let it get you down, but try to identify the causes and prepare better in future.

Don’t be discouraged! Maybe you just went a little faster as the other runs had gone well? Just follow the programme, have faith in it, and make sure you run sloooowww! I’m sure you will amaze yourself 👏🏻
