Just finished w2r3. I hope this begins to get easier as that was a struggle this week. My legs felt like lead but managed to complete the runs.

W2r3 blues
Hi run-buddy, I have the w2r3 to do either tomorrow or Sunday, I have been struggling with the week 2 quite a bit- also hoping it gets easier! Onwards and upwards! 😊
Best of luck . Roll on wk3😬
Great for completing wk2 . You will really have to drink loads of water 7 days a week when running and even more when it's warm . That will help with the heavy legs 😊
Thanks for the water tip.Ill try to increase my intake and see if that helps👍
Hi run-buddy. Keep it up. You are a run ahead of me. I have w2r3 scheduled for today. I thought it would be my lungs that would be my downfall but it’s my legs. The pain after the third run section is terrible and I have to take some time during the walking sections to massage them. Not sure if that messes up the plan somewhat but it’s the only way I’d complete the running sections. I also talked to a sports therapist about it and he gave me some ‘dynamic stretches’ (not ‘static stretches’ that I’d been doing). I’m sure if you look it up on the internet there’ll be something about them. Good luck,
Thanks I’ll look that up. My breathing is also out of sink. I can’t do the 4 paces breath in/out routine. I just breath as comfortably as I can. Good luck with your last w2 run.
Well done for completing. Some days and runs are easier than others but if you take it slow and steady you'll do it. If you're struggling it's worth looking at the Japanese slow running technique on u-tube. I found it really helped. Good luck.
Thanks for that I will find it and see if it helps.
