So a slight pain in my calf became 2 weeks and then one thing after another, work, family etc has meant I haven’t run for 2 months. I have now put on weight and am grumpy and desperate to get back out. What do people recommend do I need to start at week one again or shall I just go out for a gentle jog and see how I get on?
2 months of no running 😢: So a slight pain in... - Couch to 5K
2 months of no running 😢

I missed a few weeks early on and feared I had lost all my fitness. I ran W1R1 again and found it OK so moved on to W1R2 two days later and so on until I felt it was challenging. Then I just resumed from that point onwards.

Just go out for a jog and see what you can manage then take it from there . Good luck 😊

Head out for a jogette and see what the body says

I would simply start from day 1. Actually, that's exactly what l did after an injury induced two month break. And guess what happened when l graduated, got injured and couldn't run for three months? Yep, l repeated the whole C25K. Why? Why not.

I'm in the same situation - was thinking of going out and seeing what happens, but aware that 34C isn't ideal conditions to get the shoes back on!
