That is wrong, you should not have ran two days in row, non negotiable, the number one rule on C25K is not to run on consecutive days, if you do, you could cause yourself a injury, so no more runs on two days in a row. Onwards and upwards to run 2 of week 6, before that give yourself two days OFF RUNNING.
At this stage you should always ,always have rest days between runs. Running on consecutive days is not advised and you could injure yourself and put yourself out of running altogether . Now you know . So enjoy your rest day and go out again feeling rested ππ
No consecutive running until you have been running for a significant amount of time.. that is our advice...please do check out the post for Newbies...FAQ...
Use some of your rest days for the all important stamina and strength exercise which runs alongside your running
I do Mondays, Wednesdays, then 2 days rest up ready for Saturday's run . Your body needs rest and plenty of water . Take it easy πβ
When I started on this journey I was advised never to run 2 days in a row until I had been running for at least 18 months. I find sticking to routine (as much as possible) with days/times helps and keeps your recovery on track! Good Luck and keep going!
Lol you live and learn...we've all overdone it before I'm sure but if the jelly legs didn't put you off, I bet the telling offs on here will. Now you know π
