Achilles pain update

Well I went off to the docs, and as luck would have it, no achilles pain today! Anyway, she poked and prodded and we found where it hurts. She has printed out copious sheets for me to read, including a variety of exercises (including heel drops) to do every day (won’t have time for running I think!) The info says that stopping exercise altogether can do more harm than good, so she said maybe just do shorter runs. She also gave me a self-referral to a physio, so will take advantage of that. I really don’t want to stop C25K – did Wk6R3 on Sunday – so pleased with myself! But I will be careful from now on – counting the 25 mins on Sunday as my mini-graduation 😊 Never would have believed I could get this far – me running!!! And my weight has started to go down finally. Will maybe get the bike out a bit more to keep up the good work. pre-C25k no more!
