Not getting any easier

Got to week 7 then had one week off for holiday. Started again at week 5 but struggling and feel like quitting. Running in this heat is not helping. Any suggestions?

I've been going to the gym & running on the treadmill. Air con & fans on the machines really help! Maybe see if there's a gym near you that doesn't tie you into a contract?

Gym, if not try to run around sunrise, that is the coolest time of the day, good and bad news for you, the weather is to get cooler BUT it's to rain as well.

I empathise ..early mornings maybe or late evenings..I ran in the rain this evening it was lovely..don’t quit .. look how far you’ve come in7 weeks!!

Why have you started back on Week 5 after just one week off? No wonder you're feeling a bit de-motivated! The common wisdom seems to be that you won't lose any fitness before two weeks of no running so it seems a bit daft to drop back a couple of weeks when you don't need to.
