Can't believe I've only gone and done it! Had a beautiful run along the canal and railway walk this morning. Was a different route to usual. Was slightly surprised to see if actually covered less distance today than my last run - thought I was going a bit faster!
When I started this, after the first run I thought that I'd never make it. That first run was SO hard! Tbh, I've found every run hard. Hard but doable. This program is incredible, it pushes you to the brink but you can do it. Literally if I can do it. I'm still a good few stone overweight, have always hated running - my last experience being struggling with the 1500m 30 odd years ago at school. It is literally incredible!
Now to consolidate, continue losing weight and eventually get up to 5k and who knows - maybe parkrun in the future! All the best to all you guys on the journey xxx

You really are - itβs so good for people like me on W3 to see posts from people like you who say you never thought youβd make it, but here you are! ππ»
Good luck with the continued weight loss and hitting that 5k.. you'll do it π
Outstanding Percy! Congratulations.. Get those graduate, running legs down to your local parkrun!
Also, stick around! You've been there, you've got the badge, you know what it's like to start and finish. Your support and advice is really valuable here.
let us know how your running is going! Some people get a bit lost at this point, join us on the bridge to 10k forum. You get the running regulars in there, on their bar-stools, eating peanuts and babbling on about their runs... it's great.
Woohoo, well done Percyp73 - congratulations π π₯ π₯ π π π π π!!!! It's brilliant when you achieve something you never thought you would be able to do, enjoy that buzz. And yes, do stick around and tell us all about your post graduation running adventures. βΊ
