Well who’d have guessed? Been at work today, cycled on the E-bike, did the ironing, had a big slimming world dinner then watched the Kelly Holmes TV programme about park runs. This inspired me to get out and do a run. I had no idea which route I was going to take and to be honest didn’t really want to run at all. I felt ok so decided I’d try and run to my sons house which I just hadn’t been able to manage last time. The last kilometre was hard as my hips were stiff but I just got slower and didn’t give up. The sight of his front door was the best !!!!

Great run for you Archieandme, I also watched that program about parkruns in N Ireland with Kelly Holmes, it made me in the mood for going for my second parkrun in two weeks, it was a really good program, just a pity they did not mention C25K as getting people to start their running,
I think people should do a course like C25K, once they graduate, register on the Vitality 5K parkrun website then go and run a parkrun somewhere.
