Running after an illness

I had completed W3r3 and was really looking forward to the next step up when I came down with a virus. It affected my breathing and knocked me for 6. Back at work today and taking things easy. It has been a week since the illness and I am keen to get back into the running. When I resume which will be probably at the weekend if I feel up to it should I repeat w3 again or best of just trying w4r1? Any advice would be welcome.

As you have been quite unwell and haven't been doing this for long, I would suggest repeating week 3. Good luck!

Sorry about being abrupt and just saying 'repeat week 3', I was in a bit of a hurry earlier and was very limited on how to answer your question, I am now more relaxed and will explain that if any runner is not satisfied or having some issues with any of their runs, whether be it they have not been well or off running for a few weeks they can repeat any run or week if they like, yes, in your case I think it would be better if you repeated week 3.

Not what you're looking for?
