So first off, sorry for posting a foot picture 😳

Help!!!

Today I’ve noticed bruising to my 2nd metatarsal. No pain yesterday whilst running my first post graduation consolidation run. No pain today until I got home from work and wore flip flops and even then it wasn’t much. Bit of an ache now but not much.

Could this be a stress fracture?

I appreciate that I should get it looked at by a medical professional but will take a month to get an appointment at my GP. Just wondered if anyone has had similar.

Having just graduated I really don’t want to stop running. Any advice appreciated

I have good running shoes ASICS gel Phoenix 6 and they are the comfiest shoes I’ve ever worn

I would get an emergency app at GP. It takes me a month to get a routine appointment but I can get one on the day with an emergency one x

Please get qualified medical advice. However, I suspect that your feet have swollen in this hot weather, or slip a bit, and your toe is pressing against the end of your trainer. It’s bruised at the joint with your foot.

I went to minor injuries unit. Apparently it is a ruptured tendon, I’ve been told to buddy tape it to the other toe. If it hurts stop running (for a while) otherwise good to continue. Relieved it’s not worse as I was a bit gutted to think I would have just got to week to then have to stop
