Wow today I did the Mencap 5k in Greenwich it was hot and the Hills so steep but managed to finish had to walk up one hill it was a killer , when I had finished some of the girls said they could here me saying slow and steady and it kept them going

Greenwich is my home town : ) I don't live there now but I was born there and went to school there. Which hill was it ? There are some nasty ones indeed.

It was in the park so very hilly , 2 very steep ones, one was running adjacent to crooms hill x

I used to go to school at St Ursula's, I know those hills very well, lol. Every school day for 7 years lol. Well done !

Those girls heard you say slow and steady while you were running, very good, that was not a parkrun, nevertheless well done on completing it. 😊 🏃

No it wasnt a park run it was a charity event for Mencap of 5 or 10k and 1k for the little ones
