Coming back after injury or illness is tough, tougher than I expected. I have a mixture of feelings as I take myself through the programme again. I trust the programme as I know it works and I have every confidence that I’ll ‘graduate’ again. What’s been hard though, is shaking off the thought that I should be doing this a lot easier than I am. I think it’s partly my age (65) and I’m also heavier than when I did it the first time round. (I’m doing something about that and it’s slowly coming off – 4 pounds since I started the programme again). I tried changing coach and although I have a huge amount of respect for Michael Johnson as an athlete and commentator, I’m going back to Laura today. I couldn’t hear what he said over my music – Laura automatically turns the music down –and I thought he told me to slow down when actually he had said that I had a minute to go. I made up for it by running for an extra minute on my final run. It feels so good to be part of this programme again.

Great on returning to c25k, you've done it before you'll do it again and I like Laura it was her that got me through c25k. Good luck 😊
