A question about feet

Can anyone advise please. I have some amazing brooks trail shoes that I have run in since about w7 of couch to 5k, they are comfy and support my feet. However I have one black toe nail, it's never hurt but its black.

Any ideas what's going on?

Did you buy a bigger size than you normally wear? Usually people wear a size to a size and a half above your regular shoe size.

Here’s a load of runners world links on toenails and related issues runnersworld.com/black-toen...

Bruising. I agree try a half size bigger, or you could try replacing your shoes to stop your foot sliding forward. Some options here :

I lost a toe nail after my first ( and only) half marathon(😩) - not nice, but looked on it as a rites of passage!😉

What Brooks shoes do you have btw? My trail shoes are Brooks Caldera and I ❤️them!🏃🏽‍♀️

Maybe try lock lacing? It helped me.🙂
