After vowing I would turn up for me three times a wk & get running I’ve been struck down with shingles .... I’m into my second wk of medication & I swear all it does is just make me want to sleep πŸ› πŸ’€....

All you can do is think and dream about running, sorry about the shingles, once that's all gone you can get back to running.

Shingles sucks big time, I've had it twice :( Once even the roof of my mouth was affected.

Often it's a sign that you are run down (the virus stays in your body all the time and your immune system keeps it pinned down, when you are too run down, your immune system doesn't keep it under control like it should and you get shingles - I'm not a doctor, but that's how it was explained to me).

My advice would be to take it easy, no point in making yourself more tired (even though running has been said to stimulate the immune system lol)
