Read the FAQ blog posts, there is one on getting started with c25k, this was the best preparation I did. You will receive a link to this in your messages but you can also view them under “pinned posts”.

Good luck! You can do it x

Are you able to post a link to the FAQ blog as I can’t find it?

Hi Pinkdot, I did my first run yesterday, good luck you’ll totally smash it 👊😁

C25k is an amazing plan and really does work, just go slow and drink plenty water 7 days a week. Good luck 😊😊

You absolutely CAN do this! Run1 will be hard but you will get through it and the sense of achievement after doing that first one is awesome. I’m currently repeating week 3 after knee problems but I have definitely noticed a difference in my fitness and honestly I have never ever been a runner. Only tips I have are that One, nobody out there gives two hoots what you look like so don’t even give it a second thought. Two, get a good playlist going as it’ll see you through when you’re starting to think ‘omg I’m tired/legs ache/too hot’. Three, stretches! They’ve helped with my achey knees. Let us know how you get on! 😊

I did run 2 today, I feel so unfit😩 I completed it though 👍🏻. The heat made the run feel a lot harder 🏃‍♀️.

Well done! You did great! The heat and humidity are a killer aren’t they 🙈 Keep at it! 😊

Well done for starting , don’t worry about distance just concentrate on keeping going however slow, drink loads of water especially the day before it does make a difference and is good for weight loss two. Another thing it will probably take more than 9 weeks as some times you might feel like a longer break between runs or get a niggle, don’t worry in a few weeks you will be running more than you thought possible.
