I did my first park run today. Wow that was hard, managed to run for most of the distance and posted a time of 31.25 - I will make the 30min 5k eventually. Being passed by someone pushing a buggy had to be my highlight! Still onwards and upwards, they were a really friendly crew and gave lots of encouragement, am going to try to incorporate this run every week.

Well done you! That's a great time, a 30 minute one is definitely in sight, especially if you walked some of it today. It is a great atmosphere at Parkrun isn't it, I did my second one today.

Well done to you Kat332zz on completing your first 5k Parkrun in a very good time of 31.25, I will be running my first parkrun next month, OK being passed by a gazell completing a parkrun sub 20, but not sure how it feels being passed by someone pushing a buggyπŸ˜‚, it would be like me who has been cycling for 40 years or so being beaten by someone who has just recently started cycling, anyway, glad you enjoyed your run today. 😊 πŸƒ
