Wow! You can tell it was the first, and the destination for many pilgrimages. Over a thousand people all out to have a fun run on a glorious morning.
My first post-grad run, and after 2 days off.
Managed a 30 minute run, 8 minute walk and then 5 minutes more running.

It's worth it. The crowd is incredibly friendly, as all parkrun crowds seem to be. It's also a lovely park and a simple flat course - no laps.
