Very useful, particularly on longer runs. I've taken to wearing my hydration belt for all my runs now (except parkrun, where I can leave a water bottle at the end). Don't use it during the run if 5k or less, but sure glad of it on the cool down.
I only use it in warmer weather, say the temperature is 13C/55F or above. Don't fancy running in temperatures above 21C/70F, although now with the water bottle it could be a bit higher. 😊 🏃
Many years ago I was out on a long cycle ride, the temperature was 28C/82F,
I had no water with me that afternoon, got home in a state of collapse, I was only 14, taugh me a lesson that day, from then on I always took water with me on bike runs in warm weather.
