Was looking forward to this morning as weekend only days I can squeeze in a 5k at my pace ( I run at dawn before work so really can’t get up any earlier !). So last Sunday went for lovely new route but took wrong turn leaving me ages from home. Knew how to correct this morn and was hoping I’d got it right. Last 1.5 along old railway line walkway which is nice and flat and then steep steps to finish just as 5k buzzer on Garmin sounded. Felt like a gazelle up those steps ( looked like a fluorescent tomato but who cares!?). 2 min walk home and a stroll round garden to finish . Happy novice runner! 🤗🏃♀️

Sounds ideal. I’m looking for something along those lines. 😊 Have several nice local routes but they are either out-and-back or involve more road than track. Or they involve a drive....☹️ Glad you found a good one! 👏🏼

Oh it's brilliant when you discover a new route that works really well. Fantastic!
