Overpronation, patella tendinitis and overspending

So.... long time no post.

Been doing good, 3x a week, gradually building to 10k, then struck down by dodgy knees. Physio verdict, quad, glute and band strength exercise ‘to fatigue’ but carry on running. Just get some insoles for your shoes for arch support.

Result? New shoes. Bye bye Altra Paradigm zero drop, hello Mizuno Inspire.

Here’s hoping they help the increasingly old knees...

At that distance you need nice shoes.

Love the colour! Hope they get you to 10k safely! I have Mizuno shoes. Love them. Very supportive! And very expensive!!!!

They’re very comfy. Even I could see on the video footage that my landing foot was more stable than in my zero drop shoes.
