Why does it always rain when I need to run? Completed W6R3 today, strangely it felt harder in the drizzle today than it did in the torrential rain on Monday. Think I might treat myself to 2 rest days now and do my next run on Saturday rather than Friday as planned.

No harm on taking two days off, good luck for Saturday.
Ah, this year I reckon the Weather Gods are toying with us all. π If we take our rain gear, it turns hot & we get sunburn. Wear your sun hat and youβll need windscreen wipers on your glasses. ππ¦βοΈπ Good thing we all love running so much!
Two rest days sounds great. Maybe you can sneak up on the weather....
It might have been harder but you still dit it. Bask in knowing that despite the weather throwing it's all at you, you're still out there running and not staying home on the sofa !
I found the exact same thing last week on a run... I was slower and less comfortable in the drizzle than in the real, splashing up an inch off the ground, rain during the rest of the run. You got this now, and thatβs something to be celebrated... enjoy a well deserved extra rest day.
Living in Lancashire you get used to running in the rain πin fact I started C25K in January so ran in sleet some days but I found it quite refreshing!
Iβve just moved to Staines from the Wirral so Iβm used to the weather in the north west but Iβve had pretty good weather for all of my runs up North and pouring rain for all my runs down South. Just need to find some nice routes to run now. Contemplating my first park run on Saturday if I can find my way there without any SatNav.
