Disappointed, no running today

I went to London Monday to meet with a new customer, due to who the customer is I had to dress formally, suit, tie, etc. I have a pair of Hush Puppies that are approx. 10 years old that are my formal shoes but I don't wear very often.

I found that these shoes really need replacing, the muscles/tendons on the instep of both feet are tight and painful, so no running today as I know it wouldn't end well.

BUT, I can flex the week out a little more, run tomorrow or Friday and just work from there.

Tip to all the frugal guys out there, the old pair of formal shoes that you use from time to time may need replacing with a newer pair.
