Possibly a daft question but running with colds?

So after the miserable weather we have had here the last week, I have come down with a cold. Do many of you run with colds? Does it make you feel better? Feel worse? Just looking for some of your experiences really as I'm a good 97% sure I'm still running later 🤧

I’ve got the same problem today, started with sore throat and sniffles yesterday and although feel generally ok am not 100%.... I’m supposed to do wk9r2 today. Like you I want to do it but not sure how it will go. Common sense says leave it though. Likely to get tired more quickly and at increased risk of injury too. Also if you can’t complete you then feel a bit defeated.... I’m going to see how I feel after work. If I’m more tired than usual I’m waiting a day or two! Good luck, feel better soon!

Above the neck - run

Below the neck - don't run.

I agree, that's always been the advice I received.

If your chest hurts, don't run, if it's all in your head, sometimes a good run will help sweat it out (or any other sport that makes you sweat) as long as you get home and get warm after.

Take it slow, your body is dealing with a cold, but it is doable if you want

I did my jog with a bit of a head cold and felt better, I think the heavy breathing helped clear it out.
