Hi all am new to all this but rather nervous about starting. Any advice would be great. Am 5ft 4in tall and weigh 10st 7lb but i wanna get fit and start being healthier.

Me and my partner have set a goal of getting fit by next year so we can sign up for a 10k run.

Great decision to get started on the C25K programme! And nice that you are going to be doing it with your partner, you can support each other. Best advice I can give is run slow, a light jog and respect the rest day in between runs. If you try to do too much too soon, you are much more likely to be injured and give up. Slow and steady is much better and you can work on pace later. Good luck and let us know how it goes, this forum is lovely and supportive and we'll be cheering you on. ☺
