In the words of a famous sports brand..... Just Do It. The hardest step is the decision to do C25K. If you don’t enjoy it, I’ll give you your money back.

Great for joining c25k it is an amazing plan and really works. Just start with wk1 and don't move on to the next run until you've fully completed the previous run good luck 😊

Welcome. 👍😊 I imagine it’s really hard to pick up something at which you used to excel and not be as nimble as you were. 😟 Congratulations for being willing to start! 👏🏼👏🏼

Can you maybe be a new, fictional person while you try C25K? After all, you’ve got a new name on here. ... When I started I didn’t tell anyone I was going to try running; just told the Other Half I was going for a walk so someone knew where I was if I keeled over. I was into W4 before I accidentally let the truth slip out. 😄

The hard thing about the programme is getting out the door the first time. After that, everything is (comparatively) easy. You can’t “fail” a run, because it’s ok to repeat if you don’t make the full duration. The first/second/other go was just practice, and practice is good. 👍 And there’s no distance requirement. The plan is to build stamina & running time, and let pace come later. You’ve never met as many snails & tortoises as there are on here! (I’m a tortoise - still, as a graduate.) 🐢

So be “New Runner Noedlav”, instead of any past self, and do join us by lacing up your trainers and getting out the door.

Really, we welcome you as you now are. 👍🎉

C25K has been the best thing I've done in the last 12 months. The programme has been excellent at rebuilding my own confidence and strength so you're definitely in the right place. The forum is also can for support and advice. Enjoy x
