Hi, just signed up here and thought I’d say hello. I’m on week three at the moment and will be doing run 3 tomorrow.
I’ve become so hooked on running I’m doing it most days now, but I do have the odd rest day. I get a great feeling when I’ve done each one but it is a struggle, but I’m determined though.

Do not run on consecutive days, ever... those running legs are only just beginning ti build up...the rest days are non negotiable and there is so much other non impact exercise you can do. All helping to build up your core strength and stamina..
The replies you will get will reflect this advice... we need our rest days...to give those micro- tears time to repair...hidden injuries are just that..hidden...and the IC is not a great place to be
Follow the plan...take it slow and steady... relax into each run and do not push too hard..
Welcome! I see you’ve already been told not to run every day. The admin and mentors on this forum sound mean at times, but they know what they’re talking about. Seasoned runners who have been doing it for years may be ok to run every day, but us newbies need to take a recovery day. Doesn’t mean do nothing. Walking, swimming or cycling are all good cardio activities which will help your running without the impact of pounding along. It’s great to be so up for it, I know where you’re coming from, but reign it back a tad. It’ll pay in the end.
Ok lecture over! Welcome again! Great to have you aboard.😁
Welcome along for the run. Great to have you along.
Even if you are already fit you're going to need rest days. Take it easy, we don't want you to burn out. Taking a day or 2 to rest makes your next run stringer.
I think that you must be doing great, and you've found your runners high feeling. If only we could bottle that feeling we would be so rich!
