But I have finally cracked the 5k target! The usual ups and downs and back tracks but finally today I got to the magic figure, even if it was slowly! There is hope for all just starting this adventure.
I'm also delighted to say the very slow and steady approach has improved my 10year history of chronic Achilles tendinitis by about 80% I should think!! Something has actually worked (for those fellow sufferers, we know very little really helps). When doing the actual C25K I never did any more and always had the recovery days. After ,I have very slowly increased my distance until today! Now I hope to do 2x 5km/week and work on time ....but very slowly! I must go back to the old days of hobbling.

Well done! It doesn’t matter how long you take, the fact that you completed it (n even started and kept going when you were able) is what matters - hope you feel proud of yourself for the determination and effort you’ve shown 🤗🥳 x
Well done LC, for keeping that vision of 5K going for so long. Congratulations on your achievement. You are a very positive inspiration for those who feel that they should do 5K in order to graduate. You show that time and determination is what is really required for a well deserved feeling of satisfaction.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Just keep up your running, you don’t have to do 5K every time!
