I set off in my second holiday run this morning before breakfast. Musical accompaniment this time as I had sussed out that if I had turned left instead of right last time I would have found myself on a 20 minute circular woodland walk - at least that's what the sign said π That was the only sign I saw for the route. I nearly ended up on the equine cross country course again but thought b"@@er that! It was a beautiful run through the woods and the hilly terrain gave me a challenge I don't find at home in Essex but I blatantly have no sense of direction when confronted by trees ππ. Completely lost again π I climbed over fallen trees to reach a road after spotting a car ahead. Instead of a circuit I had managed to come out on the other side of the woods π I was out for over an hour ran for 45 minutes of that and only stopped because I had no idea how far I needed to walk back. This is a new brave me and it was fun. Maybe I should take a phone with me though ππ
Should have taken the ball of wool with me π - Couch to 5K
Should have taken the ball of wool with me π
Nice view didn't find any dinosaurs in there did you as it looks a set from Jurrassic Park what with all them ferns and various bits of flora. Still looks like a nice day for it even with the getting lost I take it Dave was not riding shotgun but stayed it the tin tent
Maybe... Sounds (and looks) great. Where are you on your holibobs (as my friend says)
See, I told you to take the wool!!! πππ Lovely run report, sounded like a 'bear hunt'! Sounds like you're having fun, enjoy ππΌ
I thought you were supposed to be relaxing on your hols
Fazzical is very relaxed π He's putting off his next run till we get home. We had a date for his first 20 minute outing while we were here. He's stood me up π
All these hollibobbing reports... I'm itching to get away now but still have 2 weeks to wait π© Lordy lookatthatsky! What a beautiful place to run. 45 minutes? You trooper! Maybe you should take a bag of breadcrumbs on the next one
That would tempt me out for a run. Looks fab. Enjoy your adventures. I have no sense of direction, just hopeless so I really need to pay attention when I run in a new spot.
WOW that sounds like great fun, not sure I could escape from Hubby for that though, but if it wasn't cycle friendly I'd could be there?!
