Yesterday I ran week 1 run 1 , I first ran this on January 2nd . I had been doing well with my running, reached week 8 run 2 .... and then I hurt my back 😫

I tried a couple of weeks ago to run again & I started on week 4 , that was a mistake . I struggled & really didn’t enjoy any of it . So, I’ve decided to start at the beginning and get myself fit again . Hopefully I’ll achieve the entire programme this time 🤞

Last year I completed C25K but due to family circumstances and one thing and another stopped running about June time. Yesterday, I completed week 1 run 3 and feel glad I am getting back into it.

This time round I am hoping to continue into the future and not fall by the way side. I know I feel better when I am running regularly, so that is going to be my motivation.

I will look out for your posts and hope you enjoy the programme. We can perhaps cheer each other on 😀👍

You got this! I actually graduated years ago and then didn’t keep going so back to the beginning for me too - I’ve just finished week 5 again! Good to know the plan is always here to get us back up and running if injury or life gets in the way!

Great to see you back (oops, wrong choice of words!).

Fingers crossed that you're now properly recovered and will sail through the programme. And having done most of it, you already have some tips and tricks to make it easier and the confidence that you can do it!

All the very best with it. :)

I graduated from C25K last July and 2 weeks later I broke my back in a sport related accident. Luckily for me it was a stable break. It kept me on the IC until 9 weeks ago. I was itching to get back to running but I had to do as I was told by my physio. I’m glad to say that I graduated again last week. I started right from the beginning again as I knew I had to take it easy at first. You can do it but take it slow and easy. Start again from week one, you’ll soon get there. Good luck, i’ll be following your posts 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

Good luck Darcyduck with the comeback, hope you enjoy 2nd time around :-)

I've had somewhat of a slightly extended break, but ran a couple of weeks back and comfortably ran 30 minutes, so going to consolidate this week and start the 10k plan next week (hope I'm not pushing it too much). Will keep an eye on your progress and hope all goes well :-)
