Did my first run on week 1 a couple of days ago and plan on doing my 2nd tonight but my legs are still aching. Should they still be still aching after a couple of days?

That is not unusual, but if you follow the advice in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... about pacing, minimising impact and stretching straight after every run, while muscles are still warm, then this can be minimised.

The worst thing for achey muscles is total inactivity........ keep moving on rest days.

yes,i ached on w1 and w2 and was really tired on the rest days as well.

it gradually wore off in the next couple of weeks and by w5 all was fine.

it is just your body getting used to this new `thing`.
