Could not sleep very well last night as a lot going on for me at the moment, so I got up at 5am and did the run at 5.30am. It was lovely to see the sun rise and the run went well. I felt great afterwards and got a lot of other work done early this morning which I would normally leave until later.
It’s great to feel I am motivated to do this and the messages of support after my first run were amazing and much appreciated. Thank you everyone x

I ran C25K the first time exclusively on a treadmill, I was staying in a hotel in Bracknell and the reception staff told me the hotel gym was very busy from 6am onwards, I was on W7 or 8 if I remember rightly, I was up and in the gym for 5:15am, I wasn't the only one in there either.
I plodded away on the treadmill while other 'racing snakes' jumped on one of the other treadmills and did a mile faster than I was doing, they then jumped off, leaving me, plodding on, slow and steady listening to the podcast.
I really enjoyed that run and, if I'm honest, it did wonders for my self esteem, true, other people were faster than I was but, after doing their mile they left, I was there for more than double that.
Enjoy the runs, they go past so quickly and before you know it, you will have graduated and be looking at 10K!
