Went out this evenning after work and done this. OK not 5k but not a kick off it. Nearly sub 25min for a 5k. I haven't done this in at leat 10 weeks due to injury and training for my duathlon. So I'm well pleased.

Good run for you this evening Johnny, I am sure you will be able to run a 5K in 30 minutes or less very soon.

Enjoy the rest of the evening. I am watching the Champion League Football final, there was a penalty within two minutes for Liverpool.

Nice pace. That’s my aim. I’m taking a relaxing few weeks now and will keep running 5K. But when I’m back from Holidays I’ll be working on interval training again so as to work towards 25 mins. I’m at 26 mins now.

Best I ever got was a 22mins a few times. Then I took my eye off it to do low heart rate running. Then done duathlon training. Then bang football injury and no running for 6 weeks. Last couple weeks been back slow running/walking. Was really happy to get that tonight

Well... if you weren’t before, that run shouts “I’m back” very loudly... great job.

Yes it does, my trick now is not to do anymore than I'm doing and work back slowly. Holidays in 2 weeks. Would love to do a 5k in Bulgaria

Good plan... you’ll run that 5 in Bulgaria without a doubt, I’ve seen what you’ve done, and I’m pretty much convinced that nothing stands between Johnny and his goal.

Thanks very much sir. I'm a wee bit off my goal. But I'm alot closer than I was 9mnths ago, but I'm getting there slowly.

Always the best way to get there... the journey to the goal is also to be savoured.

Nice! I haven't managed sub 26 minutes yet but I feel like I can go sub 25 before my 1st runniversary
