I scared to even try this one.... I think it’s impossible - is it a case of mind over matter?

I’ve been doing my runs on a treadmill so even running outside scares me..:. Help!

I'm doing this run tomorrow. I figure if I can run for 20 mins then what's another 5 mins?! I am going to take it very slow. I felt like you at first about running outside but I love it now. It's so nice being out in the fresh air. Might be worth giving it a go? I go early as not many people around. You can do this x

This plan specialises in having people do the impossible. When you started 5 minutes was probably impossible, now you do that easy, then last week you met another impossible with the 20 minute run... that’s now done. This 25 used to be impossible, but now it’s not. You’re ready for this run... believe in yourself, slow and steady as you go. The wall you build in your mind looks pretty intimidating, but it’s paper thin, run straight through it.

Many things are impossible at any given moment, but most things don’t stay that way... certainly no run will. Have a wonderful run.

Well you already did 20, then 2 runs of 10 with some walking, so you got this.

Start of doing w5r3 - you know you can do that, then you just add on 5 minutes. As soon as you've done 1 second of the 5 minutes it's just 4 minutes and some seconds, then start doing some.maths in your head about how many minutes you've run so far on this programme, then how many seconds you now have left to run and by that time 25 minutes will be over. You can see I have talked myself through these runs many times, maths is my go to distraction.

Not what you're looking for?
