Thanks to Coach Bennet on Nike Run Club and this image I pinched from a Facebook group, I ran today. Feeling negative about myself at the moment, I made excuses yesterday and was heading in the same direction today but I’m just back from 25mins that nearly didn’t happen. Feeling better 👍
Didn’t Wanna Run run: Thanks to Coach Bennet on... - Couch to 5K
Didn’t Wanna Run run
Well done for not listening to those gremlins
Well done.
Unfortunately, I could not make out the image. Only the large print.
Well done! You got it up and you did it. I'm way off a 25min run at the moment. Keep doing it as not only are you helping you but you're also helping me with, inspiration.
Fantastic - got to be the hardest to make yourself go for it when it’s the last thing you feel like. But how amazing did you feel afterwards..?! 👏👏👏
Hope you were able to shout out all the negatives like he tells you too! Well done on doing it
Did you run the “don’t wanna run run?” I love that one!
Well done on that 25 and you ended it feeling better and being stronger for the next, that’s what it’s all about. Happy running.
Yes, I did! It’s the first one I’ve managed and I enjoyed it. Can’t play music alongside the app but that was ok for that run. I might be a NRC convert!
I use the guided runs a lot. It can control Apple Music or Spotify, but if you use something else you can use the other/no music option and start the music just before launching NRC
Ok thanks for the tip. I tend to use the BBC Sounds app more then anything. I do use Spotify but not often.
I’m either guided or run with a watch and listen to a podcast... really don’t get on with Sounds though, whoever designed it needs firing, it could have been so great.
I ran today with Eliud... it was fabulous! I ditched music (radio) as it didn’t really turn the volume down enough when they were talking. Strangely felt ok having periods of silence as they had me thinking about things. I like music but am learning to run without too
Nice one for getting that run done. And so good you feel better for it. 😀
Looking at the clock image, I see that DNA alteration is claimed for exercise. I would be fascinated to learn what evidence there is for this. For years Soviet scientists tried unsuccessfully to show this to confirm the preponderance of environment over heredity. Any information?
