Fourth attempt and I finally managed it. Think I needed something to really motivate me and today is my best friends birthday. She died in January and while I was hoping to finish the programme by today (I started in February), given the struggle I’ve had with w7 I’m happy to have got over the 25 minute hurdle.
Feeling good and sad in equal measure. Her smile could move mountains and the memory of it today kept me going.
So now I’ve just got to do it again. And again. And now that feels more possible in no small part due to the encouragement and stories from all the people here who are challenging themselves for so many different reasons.
Lesson learned from today - give it time, slow it down, don’t give up🙂

Ah that's wonderful that you completed the run. Well done you. I can't imagine losing a best friend but it's so lovely that her inspirational smile is there with you as you run, as if she is right there cheering you on. Keep going, you're doing grand 😃 x
Thanks Bells411 - Let me know how you get on with w8. I'm going to do W7 a couple more times so that I've really got it cracked before moving on.... and I'm travelling this week so not sure how to fit it in. Probably won't have another go until Thursday.... but I'll be looking out for your progress - you're so nearly about to graduate!!
