Yes! That was great. I finished a couple of hours ago and still feel chuffed to bits.
Not easy, but slow and steady wins the race. I was also running a new route; not the usual streets near my house but in a park. Much nicer to not be dodging traffic, but hills were, er.. let’s just say a new challenge. And I ran into a dead end at about 18 minutes, which I really could have done without. I just backed out and finished with some cross-country.
Anyway, it was nowhere near as bad as I feared, and it’s amazing how far I’ve come. For the first time I completely believe I will run for 30 minutes soon.
My first post here, as I only signed up yesterday to read some tips on doing W5R3. I hope I can reassure others like so many did for me.
