Great for getting started and yes the warm up and warm down walks are very important 😊

😀 you have learned your first valuable lesson, trust the plan and follow it. Great work for getting out and doing it, leg pain can be something a lot of people experience in the early weeks, read the excellent FAQs for lots of tips about avoiding pain and injury.

Well done.

Make sure you stretch after every run, as described in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... to reduce muscle pain.

Welcome... please do check the post for Newbies out...a warm up walk is fine..but it should be brisk... if you do any stretches before the runs make sure it is dynamic stretching... and after the run.. the stretches are really important.
