Life after C25K.

β€’13 Replies

Just thought I'd say hello to the C25K community. 5.5km today, that's my long run at the moment. I have a 10k race in London on the 21 July, the day before my birthday πŸŽ‚. So it's another 9 week training plan. I was a bit lost when I finished C25K but now I have something to aim for and some structure... So I'm a happy chappy. πŸ˜„

Looking forward to seeing some graduations this week. Good luck everyone! Happy running. πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Nice running... you should be more than ready by the second half of July... what a run that’s gonna be. I too need structure and am a little bit lost as I’m between plans until Monday, but I’m kicking my ass out of the door every other day so it’s working so far. Happy running.

Thanks UNM, yeah I'm really looking forward to it. Am I right in thinking you're training for the HM now!? Great stuff, and good luck if you are.

Well... I’m taking a week between plans, but yeah, that HM is set for November... serious training begins on Monday, this week is all free running while I deal with being a little older tomorrow. I’m looking at booking a few 10ks in along the way. I’m pretty sure that at some point we’ll be on the same HM/marathon start line.

Hey great to hear from you! Love the relaxed photo. Part of me doesn't want to graduate because I know that feeling all too well when a journey comes to an end, it's bloody emotional I can tell you, and the support and encouragement and friends made along the way... its like a bliming wedding build up haha! I am savouring every run at the moment, but... time is flying!

Thanks, It looks relaxed but I'm absolutely shattered 😁.

Well, you'll just have to stick around Jao! Your journey isn't coming to an end, it's just the beginning. πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Hey, lovely to hear from you.

I’ll smash that 10k if you train in such a beautiful place. Looks peaceful.

After a difficult week 8 its nice to hear some positive to keep me motivated.

I’m already greasing that I have to say goodbye to Michael!!!

Happy running.

Yeah, it's not bad... but there aren't any swings to cool down on! πŸ˜„
