Hi all, I'm just starting week 7 and thinking ahead, once the C25K has finished what does everyone do with regards to keeping it up. Are there any other apps you use or do you just go out and run for however long. Many thanks

Life After C25K
Hiya, I found the best thing to do was join the Bridge to 10K Forum and follow Ju Ju's Magic Plan. It's not an app but a spreadsheet of runs which will get you up to 10k. There's loads of good advice from really knowledgeable runners as well plus plenty of encouragement. I then got a good music playlist . After that it's over to the Marathon runners forum that's Brilliant as well. Good Luck and Enjoy it all and well done for getting so far you have done the hardest bit it's just fun all the way from now on!!!!
Not long now until you graduate, good luck, after you graduate there are several 30 minute consolidation runs before you think of what you want to do next, you can vary your running, you don't need to run for 30 minutes every time.
Try the three Stepping StonesC25K+podcasts with Laura, pace, speed and stamina then one of the Bridge 210K podcasts if you wish to run a 10K sometime in the future.
I graduated 2 years ago and I’m still running. I love 5K, it is a lovely distance. Sometimes I run a 7K and a 10K route, but in general I love 5K. I have no interest in half marathons or marathons. 10K takes me an hour and that’s long enough to be running for. So don’t feel under pressure to run more than you want to.
Spend 1 month running for 30 minutes 3 times per week. Then start working towards 5K and just get comfortable running that distance. Start doing Parkrun every Saturday morning, it’s amazing and start entertaining 5K road races, they are a great way of collecting T-Shirts.😃
But most of all just enjoy it. Try different routes, listen to music or listen to nature. Best wishes to you for your last couple of weeks on the C25K plan

ahhh thank you so much. I have no interest either in anything longer than 5k at the moment, that will be a momentous occasion when it happens and I will be happy with that. Slow and steady all the way. Thank you x
Well done. Just run for the enjoyment of it and for the health benefits. You’ll find your own way after graduation. Don’t ever feel any pressure to do anymore than you want to. On Monday I ran my old C25K route which was just 3.5K. I loved it. It was just a nice 18 minute run for fun.

He he I said that in May 2018, and I’ve done 2 10k races and am signed up for 10 mile Great South Run in October 😂😂
Here’s some advice for post graduation
