Back home. Red of face, chest heaving, thighs aching heart thumping. Feels good to be alive😃. Only one more session on week nine. Have i really done that?.
DID I DO THAT!!: Back home. Red of face, chest... - Couch to 5K
DID I DO THAT!!
I didn’t see, but that post run glow suggests that you did just do that... great job. Love every step of that last week 9 run... as you cross that start line that’s the start of the celebration of all that hard work. Have a wonderful graduation run
Thank you UFNM,. Not sure if i should just do it or try and push myself a little harder for the last one.
I just enjoyed it... there’s plenty more runs ahead to work on pace, no rush at all. If I was to be running 5k 3 times a week and wanted to push on the 3rd, I’d have run the other 2 deliberately slower already. Don’t worry about a thing... just love that run, it’s emotional at the end... anyone can do this plan, but it’s also not easy, beating it is a big achievement.
You could do a bit of both. I took it pretty easy for the scheduled 30 mins, then decided I had something left and kept on going until 9 minutes later I hit the 5k mark. The euphoria of completing it helped me and I paid for it the next day, but I think it was worth it.
Good advice. I might keep going till i hit the 5k mk
Enjoy your graduation run - it’s a joy!
Might even disco the last bit in your honour.😎
🤣 I graduated to Staying Alive 🤣🤣🤣!
HA, deep breath HA, deeper breath ,HA stayin alive weeze
Good luck for your graduation run, just take it slowly, no need to worry about time, once you have completed the 30 minute consolidation runs you can increase pace.
You'll be floating round that final run, it's the best feeling in the world. Enjoy every minute!
Well done you, yes you really did it and as for the graduation run, I would just relax and enjoy every second, maybe plan a really lovely route and if you want to give a little extra at the end then go for it but for God's sake, don't overdo it and end up injuring yourself at this late stage.... 😅
Thanks , Debston. Plenty to chew over there. I'm coming down on the side of enjoying it. Maybe even use it as a lap of honour😃
I've got my last run tomorrow too. 😁
Mines on Friday. Rest day tomorrow. Savour the moment.
