Just ran my first 5 miles

This morning I ran my first 5 miles as I'm working towards the 10K. I have done this myself...to bridge to 10K what is the best way? I've not used an app but would this benefit me? It was take me back a step will it? Thank you

Congratulations on the big 5! That’s 8k so you could drop onto the above linked plan at that stage instead of week 1.
