Can’t quite believe it - week 5 seemed so long away when I started on week 1 but it has came so quickly!!!
First 5 minutes was a little bit of a struggle and all I could think of is how on earth am I going to do 20 mins straight in a few days!?!?!? However I started to concentrate on my breathing and by the last run it took care of itself, I didn’t think about my breathing at all and actually felt like I could have ran longer by the end of it!! Was a little out of puff on the walk home but recovered quickly from that too!
I had treated myself to new trainers for starting week 5 - pregnancy has made my feet a size and a half bigger!!!! So my old trainers were a bit snug! It was great to run in them today, and I was encouraged further with a little squirrel on my last run in the park and I did a little loop to go back and watch him!
Love running in the park-the fresh air and scenery with lovely wildlife! Trainers have come back caked in mud and grass from their first wear (was raining very heavy all day in Glasgow yesterday!) and I like to run on the grass ..... I honestly couldn’t be happier 😃

Thank you! It really is a fab programme-what makes it even better is this! Love hearing everyone’s progress, and the support is by far the best incentive!
well done - sounds like you have made great progress. I'm just starting out on week 1 but I noticed that for week 4 and 5 it really ramps up the running... Did you find week 4 tough ?
Good Luck.
It will be week 9 before you know it.
You are flying, well done 👍 😊
Well done! Great inspiration for us playing catch up!
