I can't quite belive I'm at week 9. This would have seemed impossible 9 weeks ago when 1 minute was an effort!!
Up at 5.30 this morning and completed the 30 mins. I got to 4.25km running in 30(well 29 and 57s because my watch likes a 3 second coumtdown ffs)....is that ok or should I be hitting that 5km by now?
Also I have no idea about pace my watch is telling me I'm averaging a 7"02 km. Is that fast enough?(couldn't go my faster without a lung coming out though I think 😂) or should I be going slower?
9 weeks ago i was starting because i needed to do something for my health but I have found something that i really enjoy. That feeling when you complete a run is the best!

Just run...just enjoy.. pace and distance at this stage does not matter.. ( unless you are being chased by a lion) :)..You are doing wonderfully. Just relax and cruise towards that podium... slow and steady as you head towards us and the badge that are waiting !
You're doing brilliantly! Pace and distance aren't really a factor whilst completing the plan but if it helps to know, you are running slightly faster than me. I graduated last week and, although my tracking apps have messed up the distance on each run, I am achieving somewhere between 3.75 and 4km in 30 mins.
With all that said, the advice is to be able to hold a (perhaps somewhat gaspy) conversation whilst running. Short sentences at least. I found in the early days that I was running too fast. I found runs are much more enjoyable when I slowed down and my lungs no longer feel like they are going to burst! Anyway, congrats, just 2 more runs to go! Enjoy.
